Back from Hong Kong

Hey, welcome back! It's been a while since the last post. I just got back from a trip to Hong Kong, so this one is a little overdue.

Quick catch up: over the summer the site got a new design, and I put out two webapps, Nebula and the Blackjack simulator. Blackjack Sim is still on the home page if you want to place some fake bets.

Anyways, this month lobee.ca got another makeover. Notice the background? There's a new nebula, space-themed wash behind everything now. The navigation bar up top is frosted glass, and the logos got refreshed in periwinkle, one for day and one for night.

Posts like this one are now framed in cards too. Remember the 3D buttons from May? They're translucent now, so the nebula shows through them, and in light mode they get a little lavender tint. They still go click though.

Some boring stuff too: Safari support is better, and light and dark mode are handled properly now, so your browser shouldn't force its own dark mode on the site anymore. Try the toggle up top.
