🍎 Macintosh SE Restoration

A new old project

Hey, welcome to the first ever project post! Projects page has been sitting on "Nothing here yet" for a while, so here we go.

This one is a Macintosh SE, model M5011. If you've never seen one, it's the little all-in-one beige Mac from 1987, with the screen, computer and floppy drive all packed into one box. The 9 inch screen is black and white only, no colour here.

It came out alongside the Mac II, and it was the first compact Mac with room for an internal hard drive and an expansion slot. Fancy stuff for 1987.

The restoration is just getting started, so nothing much to show yet. I'll post updates here as it goes, hopefully it boots at the end of it.

That's it for now, see you next update!
